CPHI Milan 2024: PharmaNutra presents for the first time its new Sucrosomial® Vitamins

Sidevit® D3 and Sidevit® B12 are the first nutritional vitamin supplements developed with Sucrosomial® Technology. They will be presented to foreign partners at the CPHI Milan 2024, while the launch on the Italian market is scheduled for the first half of November.

PharmaNutra returns to CPHI 2024 – the world’s leading pharmaceutical trade fair – which will take place in Milan from 8 to 10 October. As part of this year’s CPHI, an absolute novelty will be showcased for the first time: Sidevit^®, the first line of sucrosomial^® vitamins.

Significant investments made in recent years in R&D have enabled PharmaNutra to apply for the Sucrosomial^® Technology patent, which has so far been successfully used for minerals (such as iron, magnesium, zinc, etc.), also for certain vitamins. In particular, research has led to the development of sucrosomial^® vitamin D3 and vitamin B12.

A previously published study has shown that sucrosomial^® vitamin D3 absorbs faster and in greater quantities. This results in a higher blood concentration and half-life than other vitamin D3 formulations available on the market. In fact, vitamin D plays a key role in bone growth and maintaining healthy bones. Furthermore, it performs many other vital functions, making it one of the most important human vitamins. As for sucrosomial^® vitamin B12, there are ongoing clinical trials that will be concluded soon, with preliminary results that are very promising.

By the end of the year, the first two sucrosomial® vitamins, i.e. Sidevit® D3 and Sidevit® B12, will be officially launched on the Italian market.
